If Canada has always been on your bucket list but you’re on a tight holiday budget, then you may want to check out Air Transat ‘s latest sale.
That’s because the airline has launched a bonanza of deals in its Winter Seat Sale, and there are currently temptingly cheap return fares to be found.
In fact, you can currently bag direct return flights from London Gatwick to Toronto from £327pp .
The deals are already live on the Air Transat website but you’ll need to book by Tuesday 15th October when the sale ends. (It’s also worth noting that the cheapest fares are subject to availability).
There’s quite a generous window of travel dates on offer, with deals valid on flights departing between November 2019 and March 2020.
Of course it’s ideal timing if you’ve been thinking of celebrating the festive period in style; after all, Canada is renowned for offering up plenty of winter wonderlands.
Toronto can make for an ideal winter hotspot, as you can go ice skating on the lakes, look out for Santa at the annual Santa Claus Parade, or pick up some last minute gifts at the Christmas markets.
Meanwhile there are all of Toronto’s best things to see and do which await, from the CN Tower to day trips to Niagara Falls.
As for where to stay? Lastminute.com can be a good source for cheap Toronto hotels with prices from £84 per night.
Of course it’s not just Toronto that’s on offer in Air Transat’s winter sale.
For example, there are fares to Vancouver from £361pp currently up for grabs, as well as deals on more Canadian hotspots such as Calgary and Montreal.
The prices are based on Economy Class fares, which include meals and soft drinks on board. However if you want perks such as additional baggage allowance or priority airport services, then you may want to upgrade to the airline’s Option Plus offering.
It’s also worth noting the flights are based on a London Gatwick departure.
