SAVE $40: As of Oct. 23, the silver version of the new Apple iPad Air (with WiFi and 64GB of storage) is on sale on Amazon for just $559 — a 7% savings.
Well, that was fast: In an unexpected pre-Black Friday move, Amazon’s already put a variant of the brand new iPad Air on sale.
Yep, we’re talking about the same brand new iPad Air that’s barely been out for a day. (Full availability began Oct. 23 — the same day as the new iPhone 12 and 12 Pro — after a weeklong preorder period.)
The variant in question is one of the 64GB base models that comes equipped with WiFi connectivity (the silver one, specifically). Normally $599, you can order it now for just $559 — a $40 savings.
Mashable hasn’t gotten a chance to review this bad boy yet, but according to a press release from the day of its announcement at Apple’s September event, an A14 Bionic chip makes it “by far the most powerful and capable iPad Air ever made.” (Compared to the Mashable’s Choice Award-winning iPad Air from 2019, it’s 40% faster in performance and offers a 30% improvement in graphics.) Its 10.9-inch Liquid Retina screen spans its entire surface, so there’s also a new integrated Touch ID sensor in the top button.
Other highlights include 7MP and 12MP cameras capable of capturing 4K video, revamped stereo speakers, Apple Pencil support, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.
Hit the blue button below to order it on Amazon for $559, and make it quick — there’s no way this deal will last long.
