Bridgerton fans can now book themed tours including the show’s filming locations

Bridgerton fans can now go exploring the Netflix hit show’s iconic locations thanks to a new escorted tour that Lady Whistledown would most definitely approve of.

That’s because escorted coach tours company Shearings has launched a brand new five-day Bridgerton & Regency Royals tour complete with a chic hotel stay, luxury coach transport and visits to the show’s most glamorous filming locations.

For example, Duke of Hastings fans will be able to wander the cobbled streets of the dockyard at Chatham, which were used for plenty of exterior scenes. It’s also here where you’ll find the boxing ring where the Duke would train during the show.

Even without the Bridgerton link, the dockyard is a must-visit boasting some impressive history. After all, it was here where warships were built during the Age of Sail, when King George III and Queen Charlotte reigned.

Another beautiful location on the itinerary is the historic Hatfield House, where Queen Elizabeth I spent some of her childhood.

In the show it served as the Featherington family home, as well as the setting for the Gentleman’s Club. In fact, Netflix fans may also recognise the house which has featured in other hits such as The Crown and Rebecca.

The five-day tour will also include a visit the elegant Georgian villa, Ranger’s House, which sits on the boundary of London’s sprawling Greenwich Park, and is home to an impressive collection of art.

The facade of the house will be instantly recognisable as the exterior of the Bridgerton home, although it was cleverly superimposed into London’s Grosvenor Square for the show.

Of course it’s just about the show locations that make this a tempting UK break. In a stay that would be fit for any member of high society, you’ll get to relax at the three-star King Charles Hotel, Gillingham, on a half board basis.

Oh, and no need to call up a horse and carriage – instead, you can make use of the luxurious air-conditioned coach transport on offer (numerous pick-up points are provided).

Prices start from £359pp for the five-day tour, with departures planned for August 9 and August 23. You can find out more on
