British Airways has slashed prices on one MILLION seats across its network – and there are flights going from £24 each way.
The airline has launched a sale with flights under £40 to 40 of its European destinations, including popular holiday hotspots such as France, Italy and Spain.
It’s been generous with travel dates too, as there are discounts available for travel through to December 2021.
You can already book the discounted flights online but you’ll need to do so by January 26 (Tuesday) when the sale ends. It’s also worth noting that the cheapest seats are also subject to availability.
There are plenty of deals if you’re tempted by a city break with flights to Barcelona from £27, Milan from £30, Lisbon from £33, and Rome and Athens from £39.
Those craving a holiday on a beach in the sunshine will also find plenty of destinations including Malaga from £24, Palma from £25, Corfu from £33 and Ibiza from £37 each way.
All of the fares are based on return journeys.
Of course, global travel restrictions are still in place at the moment, and some of the destinations included in the sale have closed borders to Brits or have strict entry requirements such as the need to provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test.
Meanwhile, residents in England, Scotland and Wales are under national lockdowns with a ban on international travel, and there are new UK travel rules in place such as the suspending of travel corridors.
There’s no indication as to when these restrictions may lift or change – so the decision to book now is ultimately up to you and what you’re comfortable with.
British Airways does offer a flexible booking policy for flights until August 31, which will allow you to rebook your flights free of charge.
You should always check the latest FCDO advice for a destination before planning, booking or going on a trip as this includes detail on any entry requirements and other updates you need to be aware of.
