British Airways launching new flights to Bermuda – with return fares from £510

British Airways is expanding its flight network next year with new flights to Bermuda – and return fares will start from £510.

The airline is set to start operating daily flights from London Heathrow to the Caribbean hotspot, with the first service due to take off on the 28th March 2021.

The new route will be operated by a Boeing 777-200, which will include the airline’s new Business Class offering.

Tickets are already on sale on the British Airways website.

It’s not the only service which the airline offers to Bermuda – there is already an existing service from London Gatwick. When we took a look, we could find fares on this route starting from £480.

There’s heaps to see and do in Bermuda too – after all, there’s a reason it features on most people’s bucket lists.

The island is renowned for its pink, palm-fringed sandy beaches, while the crystalline waters are a hit with those who fancy a dip, or want to go snorkeling to amidst the colourful marine life. There are plenty of walking trails and nature reserves to explore too, for those who fancy a bit of adventure.

Bermuda is also one of the Caribbean islands that has recently created a new visa specifically for remote workers, allowing Brits to do their job while living on the sun-soaked island.

The visa is valid for stays up to a year long – and of course, those pristine beaches and crystalline waters are sure to be very tempting on your days off!

Other Caribbean islands such as Anguilla and Barbados have also introduced similar schemes during the coronavirus pandemic.

At the time of writing, the Foreign Office doesn’t advise against travel to Bermuda. However, during the pandemic travel restrictions are subject to change, so you should always check the latest FCDO advice before planning, booking or going on a trip.

Brits who do want to visit will need to apply for authorisation from the island, and will need to take a Covid-19 test pre-departure.
