Chelsea have not been frightened to splash the cash this summer, with over £200million worth of talent arriving at Stamford Bridge.
German international pair Timo Werner and Kai Havertz both made their debut in the 3-1 Premier League win at Brighton, with Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Hakim Ziyech set to feature in the coming weeks.
Due to this host of big-name arrivals at the club, Frank Lampard may need to sell some squad players in the coming weeks if he wants to afford any last minute purchases before the October 5 deadline.
If the last few weeks are anything to go by, then Chelsea are likely to still have plenty happening in the time between now and Deadline Day even though things have slowed up slightly.
We look at some of the latest transfer news swirling around Stamford Bridge.

Emerson Palmieri attracting Serie A and Premier League interest
The Italian full back has failed to secure a regular first-team spot at Stamford Bridge following his 2017 switch from AS Roma, with just 23 Premier League starts in three seasons.
Antonio Conte’s side are rumoured to be the favourites to complete a deal for the 26-year-old, after they showed an interest in signing him during the winter transfer market in 2019/20.
West Ham’s links with Emerson only stretch as far as a loan offer, with the Hammers unwilling to negotiate a player plus cash deal to sell Declan Rice back to Chelsea.
Rennes want Fikayo Tomori on loan as part of Edouard Mendy deal
Ligue 1 club Rennes have reportedly made a last minute demand to include Fikayo Tomori into a deal to sell goalkeeper Edouard Mendy to Chelsea.
Lampard has been heavily linked with a move for the Senegalese international, despite previous claims that he is satisfied with Spaniard Kepa Arrizabalaga as his first choice.
Rennes had previously agreed to a £25.7m deal, after Chelsea rejected a €40m player-plus-cash deal with Olivier Giroud joining Julian Stephan’s side on a season long loan.
However, as per reports from the Metro, Rennes are now looking to reignite the potential for a Chelsea player joining on loan as part of the deal, with England international Tomori a target.
Tomori’s first team role could be further reduced by the arrival of Thiago Silva last month, but Lampard may want to keep hold of the 22-year-old for the long season ahead.
