Cunning snakes contort their bodies into lasso to climb and hunt

You may remember our story about snakes that ‘fly‘. Well, we can now confirm that some snakes can turn their bodies into a lasso to help them climb up poles. A team of researchers from Colorado State University and the University of Cincinnati recorded the slithering technique using infrared cameras.
