Eurostar has launched fares from £25 each way to the likes of Paris, Lille and Brussels for its Black Friday sale, as well as fares from £31 to Bruges.
The high-speed rail service has slashed prices on one-way routes to the popular cities, based on travel dates between the 7th January through to the 6th February 2020.
The deals are already available on Eurostar SNAP but you’ll need to book by Monday 2nd December when the sale ends.
It’s worth noting that Eurostar SNAP works a little differently to the usual Eurostar booking system.
That’s because instead you sign up (for free), choose your preferred travel date and then opt for a morning or afternoon slot.
You won’t find out the exact time of your train until 48 hours before your departure – so it only works if you can be flexible with the time you want to arrive at your destination.
Still, if you can be flexible it could make for a budget-friendly break.
For example, Paris may not have a reputation for being the cheapest of destinations but there are plenty of cheap hotels on offer if you want to keep the costs down and save that extra cash for sightseeing.
Meanwhile, Brussels can be a fun city break with highlights including the Grand Place with its historic buildings, eye-catching architecture and vibrant atmosphere, as well as the iconic Manneken Pis statue.
Thinking of Lille instead? Here you’ll find a vibrant nightlife – it’s popular with students – as well as heaps of shops, restaurants and bars to discover.
There are also ways to stretch your budget when sightseeing, and all you need to do is keep hold of your Eurostar ticket.
That’s because you can bag 2-for-1 entry at a host of museums and galleries in the likes of Paris or Brussels, simply by showing your Eurostar ticket at the gate. You can find out more here .
