The House of Representatives is expected to vote this evening on two articles of impeachment against President Donald J. Trump — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The Times will be tracking the vote live, and will show every representative’s position once the vote is complete.
Leading up to today’s vote, The Times conducted a survey of where each member stands on impeachment, finding that the Democrats have the minimum votes they need to pass the articles. Only one article needs to be approved to impeach the president.
Mr. Trump is only the fourth president in the nation’s history to face impeachment. Presidents Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton were both impeached by the House but later acquitted by the Senate. President Richard M. Nixon resigned before the full House could vote to impeach him.
Votes for each member will be available after the votes are completed.
