Mesut Ozil makes Arsenal prediction as he tells fans what he’ll be doing while game is on

Mesut Ozil says he’ll be supporting Arsenal in front of his TV this Thursday – and is predicting the Gunners to run out 4-1 winners.

Arsenal are in action against Rapid Wien in the Europa League.

World Cup winner Ozil can play no part in the fixture as he has been left out of Arsenal’s 25-man squad for both the Premier League and Europa League.

Ozil released an angry statement on Wednesday in which he criticised the north London club and accused Arsenal of showing him a lack of loyalty.

But this Thursday he is getting behind the Gunners as they look to kick-start their Europa League campaign with a win in Austria.

“What are your predictions for the match? I go for a 4-1 away victory. Goalscorers: Sead Kolasinac, Mohamed Elneny, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe.”

Ozil is Arsenal’s longest serving and best-paid player on £350,000-a-week.

But the German is out of favour in north London, and appears to have kicked his final ball for the club he signed for in 2013.

Ozil has one year left on his contract and will finally cut all ties with the Gunners at the end of the season.
