New cruise holiday offers everything you’d want for a wellness retreat – there’s even a lifestyle coach for passengers

Holidays are all about rest and relaxation, but one cruise line is upping the stakes with a new itinerary that’s worthy of a luxury wellness retreat.

Saga’s all-inclusive Volcanic Isles Cruise on board Saga Sapphire has it all; beautiful hikes where you can get a great workout, a lush on-board spa to rejuvenate, and even an on-board lifestyle expert and a fitness expert to help coach passengers.

And of course, there’s ample opportunity for a spot of indulgence too if you’re looking for some fine dining, not to mention excursions including brilliant food markets, Casablanca cocktails and a Madeira winery lunch and tasting.

The 15-night cruise will sail to the likes of Funchal, La Palma, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Agadir and Casablanca in Morocco, and Leixoes, Portugal – so there’s plenty to explore and see throughout the trip.

There’ll be a few fitness challenges too including a pedometer challenge, as well as plenty of chances to head to the Canaries and enjoy the walking and cycling routes from forests and lava fields to beaches of black, volcanic sands.

There will also be an Explore Ashore team on hand who can help create bespoke experiences to make your holiday that little bit extra special.

In fact there are plenty of extra perks to make your journey that little bit easier, from a chauffeur service included within 250 miles of the port to complimentary Wi-Fi.

Saga Sapphire sails back to Southampton on December 9th 2019 so guests can return from their cruise feeling fit, relaxed and ready for Christmas!

Prices start from £2,283pp departing Southampton on Sunday 24th November 2019, based on two people sharing.
