Sky Princess will be the company’s newest and largest ship that it has ever homeported in the UK, with everything from spacious cabins with balconies to speciality dining venues, pools, a casino and a theatre.

The ship actually launched in 2019 but had previously been homeported in the USA – next year will mark her UK debut in a move that’s the result of ‘deployment changes’ during the pandemic.

At the time of writing, Princess Cruises has currently suspended operations until March 31. (We have a guide to when cruise lines plan to resume sailings ).

Meanwhile, the Foreign Office continues to advise Brits against cruise ship travel – you can find out more in the FCDO cruise travel advice.

Tony Roberts, vice president Princess Cruises UK & Europe, said: “Having only just launched the ‘Dream with Us’ sale last week, it’s been fantastic to see such strong demand for Princess Cruises’ sailings from Southampton.

“Due to its popularity, we are thrilled to be able to extend Sky Princess’ ex-UK season with six brand-new itineraries. We are confident that our guests will feel excited to have even more choice of sailings from Southampton, with incredible fares that you just can’t refuse.”

The company is offering a ‘Book with Confidence’ policy in which, if you’ve booked by March 2 2021, you can cancel up to 30 days before your departure, for sailings until October 31, and receive cancellation fees back as Future Cruise Credit.
