Serge Gnabry was drop-kicked by his Bayern Munich team-mate Niklas Sule after netting four goals in the German club’s demolition of Tottenham.
Former Arsenal forward Gnabry had the game of his life for the Bundesliga giants as they put Spurs to the sword, hammering them 7-2 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Gnabry celebrated with his Bayern team-mates following the group game victory, but defender Sule had a rather bizarre way of showing his delight.
BT Sport cameras showed Sule chasing Gnabry down and suddenly drop-kicking him in front of the Bayern fans who travelled to London all the way from Bavaria.
Things didn’t get much better for Gnabry from there either as Thiago Alcantara picked up the match ball – which belonged to the hat-trick hero – and booted it into the stand.
Gnabry looked on in disbelief as the ball sailed past his head and was picked up by a Bayern fan.
Tottenham took the lead against Bayern through Son Heung-min, but Joshua Kimmich immediately hit back for the Germans.
Robert Lewandowski put his side ahead for the first time just before the break before Gnabry ran riot netting two in a two minute spell.
Harry Kane halved the deficit from the penalty spot, but Gnabry went on to bag another brace – with Lewandowski netting one in between.
