As the coronavirus pandemic continues to cause uncertainty for holidaymakers, one ski holiday firm is looking to give Brits some reassurance for future holidays.
Crystal Ski Holidays has unveiled a new ‘peace of mind’ policy for anyone booking trips for the winter 2021/2022 season, allowing them to cancel or amend their holiday for free if the pandemic impacts their holiday.
This includes if travel restrictions are put in place or if new quarantine rules are announced by either the UK government or authorities at your chosen destination.
The firm is letting holidaymakers amend their holiday free of charge if:
- You are diagnosed with Covid-19, are showing symptoms, or need to self-isolate before you’re due to travel
- You can no longer travel because the area you live in has gone into local lockdown
However, there are some instances where the firm will let you also opt to cancel your holiday at no extra cost. These are in cases where:
Managing Director, Chris Logan said: “It’s natural for people to feel anxious but we want our customers to know they can book a Crystal Ski Holiday with confidence.
“We provide expert service every step of the way, all our holidays are ATOL protected and we have put in place our ‘peace of mind’ reassurances to allow flexible amends and give people as much reassurance as possible in the current climate.”
“We will make sure our customers are fully aware of any local regulations in place before they travel, and they will also have access to us 24/7 whilst they are away.
We’ll always make sure our holidays always meet exceptionally high health and safety standards, and are enjoyable for everyone.”
The new policy comes as the company launches its winter 2021/2022 holidays to the likes of Italy, France, Austria and Andorra.
The season, running from the 6th December 2021 until the 10th April 2022, offers packages including flights, transfers and accommodation. Holidaymakers can also opt to add extras such as passes, equipment and ski school.
