The Simpsons may be a cartoon, but Springfield’s Kwik-E-Mart has just been transformed into a very real location.
In fact, the show’s fans can now slurp on a Squishee, sip on Buzz Cola, or even tuck into Lard Lad donuts.
Company simEx-Iwers Entertainment has recreated the animated store and turned it into a real-life shop where you can get the full Springfield experience – although Apu himself won’t be there of course.
But just like Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie, you’ll have access to all the Springfield classics from the hot lamp hot dogs to Flaming Moe’s energy drinks, or even the odd Duff Beer for adults.
There’s more good news too, as this isn’t just a pop-up; it’s a permanent shop, and unsurprisingly it offers up heaps more Simpsons-themed memorabilia.
Company simEx-Iwerks Entertainment is behind the exciting venture which aims to bring the on-screen “products to life”.
Mark Cornell, senior vice president of attractions development told WMBF news : “This is the first, world’s first authentic Kwik-E-Mart. Every inch of this store is themed, including bringing products to life.
“The products that are on the show, you can actually come and experience in the store first hand. Sort of like getting a taste of the show.”
And it’s not the only project in the pipeline; the company is also currently working on building a real-life Aztec Theatre, Springfield’s cinema.
Under construction but expected to open later this year, it will offer a 4D interactive experience so you can really immerse yourself in the world of the iconic family.
Although we reckon it could be the ultimate setting if The Simpsons Movie does get a sequel .
Unfortunately for Brits, it’s quite a trek to go and check out the Kwik-E-Mart, as it’s located on Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, USA.
Still, if you do find yourself exploring the US state, it’s well worth a detour!
