Tottenham’s medical team has reportedly confirmed that Gareth Bale will be sidelined for at least a month with an injury.
Bale flew into London on Friday alongside Real Madrid team-mate Sergio Reguilon – who is also signing for Spurs – to finalise the deal.
The forward has been carrying an injury, but has been working in a gym at Valdebebas, and very little information was provided on the Welshman’s condition.
But now, according to Spanish publication Marca, the Spurs medical team has had a look at the 31-year-old’s injury and determined he will be out for as many as four weeks.
It appears that Tottenham knew this may be in the case in advance, meaning the £20million loan transfer will still go through.
