British Airways customers can already bag Avios reward points when they book flights, hotels and car hire – but now they can also reap the benefits when booking cruise holidays!
The airline has unveiled a new partnership with World Travel Holdings UK in which British Airways Executive Club Members can bag Avios points when booking a cruise getaway.
Then of course the Avios points themselves can later be redeemed on heaps of travel rewards including flights and cabin upgrades.
But that’s not all.
As part of the new venture, the WTH UK Ltd Concierge Team will be able to create bespoke cruise holidays which include British Airways flights.
Considering the airline currently flies to over 200 destinations, that makes for plenty of choice of destinations right by key cruise ports.
Meanwhile, WTH UK Ltd’s portfolio spans the likes of Cruise118, Six Star Cruises and River Voyages, so you’ll have ample choice whether you’re thinking of exploring the Mediterranean or soaking up the sunshine in the Caribbean.
Alison Earnshaw, Managing Director of WTH UK Ltd, said of the move: “We’re delighted to be partnering with the British Airways’ Executive Club to bring our cruise expertise and specialism to a new customer base.”
Meanwhile Adam Daniels, CCO of Avios, added: “With a collection rate of 3 Avios per £1 spent, British Airways’ Executive Club customers booking cruises can quickly and easily obtain enough Avios to book Club Europe or Club World reward flights.”
The airline says that reward flights can be found starting from 8,000 Avios, while there are cabin upgrades starting from 3,750 Avios.
