It’s two days of fun activities and games designed to keep hundreds of dogs (and their owners) entertained, with everything from special shows and events to food stalls and even a fun fair.
Dogstival will be hosted by TV presenter Chris Packham , and is set to take place at Pylewell Park Estate in the New Forest. Oh, and there’s even a dog-friendly beach!
As for entertainment, expect display arenas, behavioural stages, fun games and activities to play with man’s best friend, a pet-friendly den and even a K9 Aquasports Pool.
If all of the excitement gets too much, there’ll be a dedicated pamper zone where your puppy can enjoy a grooming session, or even relax with a power nap.
Basically, it’s the ultimate day out for your pet – in fact, the festival promises that “if a dog could have the best day of its life it would go to Dogstival”.
Meanwhile, owners can tuck into artisan food and drink, have a go on the rides at the vintage fun fair, or even pick some gifts for their beloved pooches at the host of shops which will be on offer.
Other games will include a Dogstival Treasure Hunt for owners and their pets, as well as a wide range of different shows from training displays to fun and educational offerings so you can learn more about your best friend.
They do ask that you keep your dog on a lead unless it’s in one of the designated games zones or on the beach – and of course if your puppy doesn’t get on with other dogs, you may want to sit this one out.
You can already buy tickets on the Dogstival website for the festival taking place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May.
Adult tickets start from £15.44, child tickets from £9.11, while your dog can go for free.
