Harry Potter fans around the UK could get a magical surprise as nine giant wands from the Wizarding World are set to go on tour!
The nine Wizarding World wands, which each stand at 15 feet tall, first appeared in London last autumn but the installation will now be popping up across a host of locations.
Each wand belongs to an iconic character from both the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series, and performs a light show along to music from the franchises’ films.
The installation was created to support charity Lumos , which has a mission to get children worldwide out of institutions, such as orphanages, into loving family care.
Muggles can increase their chances of seeing the wands too, as Warner Bros. UK is letting the public vote for the tour locations.
All you need to do is vote in the national poll for the town or city where you want the wands displayed.
The selection will then be narrowed down to eight finalists, who will be announced on Monday 18th March.
The winning locations will host the installation in the lead up to the release of the third Fantastic Beasts film in 2020.
Of course while you wait to find out where the installation will be heading, you could get your Wizarding World fix with a trip to one of the Harry Potter UK filming locations .
Or book in for a magical weekend at this Hogwarts-themed apartment .
The news comes ahead of the Blu-ray and DVD release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald on March 18th.
Josh Berger, President and Managing Director of Warner Bros. Entertainment UK, Eire & Spain, and President, Harry Potter Global Franchise Development, said: “We were overwhelmed by the response to the Wizarding World Wands supporting Lumos installation in London last year and want to bring the magic to fans across the country. We are excited to find out where they’ll be unveiled next.”
