Harry Potter fans can showcase their best wizarding side at a brand new Halloween party coming to London this spooky season.
Chelsea restaurant GOAT is transforming into ‘GOATwarts’ for the 31st October, and there are going to be plenty of wizarding world-worthy offerings.
We’re talking potions classes, wand duels, a mythical creature or two – and even a secret chamber that can be accessed by performing spells and answering riddles.
It’s worth noting that the event isn’t actually affiliated with Harry Potter or J.K Rowling’s Wizarding World, but it’s still pretty awesome if you’re a fan of all things wizard and fantasy.
After all, it’s “inspired by the magical world of wizard and alchemy” so there’s a plethora of magic awaiting.
For example, create magical (drinkable) potions with spectral mists and bubbles (we’re guessing they’re going to be ridiculously Instagram-worthy).
Or put your skills to the test and get your wands at the ready to take part in one of the wizarding duels on offer throughout the night.
Of course no party is complete without proper attire. In this case, don your best robes, glasses, beards and favourite wizarding looks – points will be awarded to the best-dressed.
Fancy heading down? Tickets cost £40 and can be bought on the website here. The price includes the potions and canapes. The event will take place from 7-10pm on 31st October and is for over-18s only.
Can’t get enough of the magic? While you’re in London it’s worth booking in to pop-up bar The Cauldron, where you’ll concoct potions while dressed in the wizard robes provided. Oh, and there’s also a surprise or two in store thanks to the interactive wand!
Potions Class is an experience inspired by the magical world of wizard and alchemy and is not based in any specific story or character.
