Royal Caribbean has unveiled brand new waterslides at sea which are sure to be a hit with thrill-seekers!
For a start there’s ‘The Blaster’, which just so happens to be the world’s longest waterslide at sea – but that’s not the only reason it’s got adrenaline junkies’ attention.
The slide propels two-person rafts along over 800 feet of exhilarating hills, drops and turns, culminating with a ride down an open air tube on the edge of the ship.
Oh, and there’s even an entire section where the tube hangs over the edge of the ship.
Which means there’s nothing between you and the ocean below.
If that isn’t enough, then there are plenty of turns and drops for an extra boost of adrenaline.
Meanwhile, its counterpart Riptide sees riders plunged headfirst on a mat including a stretch through a translucent tube – also right over the edge of the ship.
Now the cruise line has shared thrilling footage of riders taking on the slides for the first time, and they’re both going on our bucket lists immediately.
The new slides are available on board ship Navigator of the Seas , and is part of a wider $115million (approximately £88million) makeover for the ship which re-launched in February.
The company has also doubled the surface area of its pool, as well as launching a new Splash Pad for families with toddlers.
As well as the water park, the ship’s makeover includes plenty of highlights include glow-in-the-dark laser tag at Planet Z, on-board escape room The Observatorium and even new dining options such as a Mexican street food offering and signature cocktail bar.
