The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s new rollercoaster looks absolutely magical

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando is already a pretty magical place, but there are extra thrills coming for muggles as it prepares to open a brand new rollercoaster!

And judging from the new artwork, it looks like Hogsmeade is going to be getting a pretty epic addition.

The new teaser poster was revealed on the Pottermore website and offers a sneak peek of the track, with Hogwarts visible in the background as well as a new building (which we assume will form the basis of the ride).

There are also three Cornish Pixies visible – the mischievous beings we met in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – causing fans to speculate that they might be related to the attraction’s theme.

Very little is known about the rollercoaster so far as, unsurprisingly, Universal is keeping tight-lipped about what fans can expect.

However, the ride is currently construction and set to open in 2019, so we’re hoping that they’re going to start releasing more teasers very soon.

What we do know is that it will be replacing the Dragon Challenge rollercoasters, which were demolished last year, and that the ride will be a family-friendly attraction.

The Harry Potter ride is currently under construction

The Wizarding World, which sits in the resort’s Islands of Adventure theme park, already offers up some thrilling rides such as Flight of the Hippogriff and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.
