Travelodge opens Lincoln flagship hotel and launches £29 rooms deal to celebrate

Travelodge is celebrating its 30th anniversary since opening its first hotel in Lincolnshire in style!

The budget hotel chain is set to open a brand new flagship in Lincoln city centre on Friday 7th December, and to mark the occasion they’ve slashed prices on rooms to £29.

That’s £7.25pp for a family-of-four sharing a room.

The deal is valid on all 10 of the Lincoln hotels it offers, and there are also new SuperRooms to be found from £39.

The cheap rooms are already available to book on the Travelodge website but you may want to be quick as there is limited availability.

The new flagship is the brand’s 527th hotel in the UK, and will boast a handy location a stone’s throw from Lincoln Castle.

It will include the brand’s swish SuperRooms as well as a Bar Cafe with the new menu which was unveiled earlier this year which offers two courses for £12 and a complimentary children’s menu, working out at £6 a head for a family of four.

The new bar will also offer a gin menu, alongside a range of wines, Prosecco and Champagne.

The flagship isn’t the only addition to the Travelodge portfolio.

The brand revealed that it’s also set to open a new 56-room hotel in Gainsborough. The company has also unveiled plans to open three new hotels in the county and is currently considering sites in Boston, Skegness and Stamford.

Don’t be disheartened if you miss out on the initial £29 room deal as there are plenty more Travelodge offers to be found including meal deals and further discounts on rooms.

It’s been a busy year for the brand, which also launched a new ‘budget chic’ range of hotels in the form of Travelodge Plus.

Highlights include the enhanced rooms with a ‘tranquility zen’ colour scheme, king-size beds, blackout curtains and bespoke pixel wall art, SuperRooms, and a new bar-café with more seating options such as booths and dining benches.

Currently locations include Brighton Seafront, Edinburgh Centra, Gatwick Airport Central, London City, London Waterloo and York Micklegate.
