Virgin Atlantic has opened bookings for its new flights to Tel Aviv from London Heathrow.
The new direct route will begin operating on Wednesday 25th September on a daily basis, with an average flight time of five hours.
Return fares in Economy start from £358pp, which includes complimentary food, drink and in-flight entertainment. It’s worth noting that these fares don’t include your baggage allowance.
Meanwhile, return flights in Premium Economy will start from £662pp. Here you get all the same benefits as Economy, with a few extra perks including extra legroom and two checked bags.
Those looking to splurge could bag returns in Upper Class from £1,278pp which will include your food and drink, fully flat beds, an onboard bar and three checked bags.
All of the various fares are available to book on the Virgin Atlantic website , for selected dates throughout 2019.
The new route marks another step in a wider expansion for the airline which is set to welcome the first four of 12 Airbus A350-1000 to its fleet.
At the time of the route’s announcement, Yariv Levin, Tel Aviv’s Tourism Minister, said: “The entry of one of the world’s leading airlines into Israel is another expression of confidence in the Israel tourism product.
“The revolution that we have implemented in the Ministry of Tourism in recent years is bearing fruit with record-breaking numbers of incoming tourism to Israel.
“The new flights will be integrated with the marketing campaign in Europe, which highlights Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. I am convinced that, with the entry of Virgin Atlantic into Israel, we will see continued growth in incoming tourism from the UK.”
