Cold Feet is back on our screens, giving us the perfect excuse to make the most of cosy nights in.
ITV”s comedy-drama starring James Nesbitt, Hermione Norris, Robert Bathurst, Fay Ripley and John Thomson picks up where it left last season, and judging by the teasers it’s going to be just as gripping.
But where exactly is Cold Feet filmed?
The popular show is set in Manchester, so it seems fitting that filming takes place on location in the city itself.
There’s more good news for fans as, although some scenes are in purpose-built sets in a studio, most of the locations are real and you can easily go and visit them.
Season eight wasn’t purely filmed in Manchester either – the cast and crew ventured to the likes of Cheshire and Wales too.
Check out the destinations used below…
For example, the characters are often spotted having a drink at their local pub, with The Woodstock in Didsbury serving as the location.
In fact, according to Manchester Evening News , the homes of Pete and Jenny, and David and Karen, are filmed at properties along Kingston Road in the area.
This season will see some of the action taking place at Manchester Airport, while James Nesbitt and John Thomson were spotted filming a dramatic rescue scene at the Manchester Ship Canal.
But it’s not just Manchester which features in season eight.
The cast and crew ventured a little further afield when it came to filming scenes set during a music festival.
Their destination of choice? Picturesque Delamere Forest in Cheshire and no wonder; tipped to be the largest area of woodland in Cheshire, the forest boasts some lush greenery and seriously breathtaking scenery.
Filming here took place in May, so we imagine there’ll be sunnier climates than the cold winter weather we’re currently experiencing.
Some of the Cold Feet season eight filming took place on the breathtaking island of Anglesey, Wales.
Show bosses had previously revealed that a wedding takes place in the series, and it seems that Anglesey was the location for the big day, with scenes being filmed for both the ceremony and reception.
Cold Feet is on ITV at 9pm on Mondays.
