TUI is offering Brits more chances to bag a last-minute getaway to the Greek Islands in 2020.
The travel giant has announced extra flights to the holiday hotspots of Kos, Rhodes and Zante, and says that this includes thousands of new packages.
Zante holidays will be on sale for travel in October, with flights available from London Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham.
As for Kos, the company is adding extra holidays until the 15th November, with flights from London Gatwick and Manchester.
Meanwhile, Rhodes holidays will also be on offer for departures up to and including the 14th November 2020, with flights from London Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham.
The news comes after the islands of Lesvos, Tinos, Serifos, Santorini and Zakynthos were added back on to the UK’s travel corridors, meaning that Brits won’t need to self-isolate when returning from the holiday hotspots.
All of the extra holidays are already available to book on the TUI website, with prices starting from £449pp. There are also savings of up to £600 per couple to be had.
Don’t be disheartened if you can’t quite make the dates work for you. The good news is that, as well as the Greek Islands, there are still countries Brits can visit without needing to isolate – we’ve done the leg work and put together a full list of quarantine-free countries.
Earlier this month, the government launched a new taskforce to look at ways in which the 14-day quarantine could be cut down.
This includes looking at airport testing, as well as other alternatives such as being required to self-isolate before you travel.
It’s worth noting that travel restrictions are volatile during the pandemic, so you should always check the latest FCDO advice for your destination before planning, booking or going on a trip.
