  • Vizio’s new 4K OLED TV is now available for an early Black Friday deal price of $1,500 at Best Buy.
  • That’s $500 off the TV’s full retail price of $2,000, and the lowest we’ve seen it sell for so far.
  • Vizio’s OLED was already the most affordable OLED TV on the market, and this big discount makes it an even better value.

Best Buy is running a limited-time deal on Vizio’s brand-new 4K OLED TV, bringing the 65-inch model down to just $1,500. That’s a $500 discount off the display’s $2,000 retail price. The deal is set to expire on November 1, so you’ll have to act soon to snag one at this price.

The Vizio OLED 4K TV is currently the most affordable 65-inch OLED model you can buy. Its closest competitor in price is LG’s 65-inch BX OLED, which usually retails for around $2,100. That said, Best Buy is also discounting that display, bringing its price down to $1,800.

At a sale price of $1,500, however, the Vizio OLED offers even better value. The TV features all of the picture quality benefits that OLED displays are known for, including deep black levels, an infinite contrast ratio, and wide viewing angles. The display also features HDMI 2.1 ports, along with advanced HDR support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. LG’s OLEDs actually lack HDR10+ capabilities, so that’s one area where Vizio has a leg up.

Early reviews for the Vizio OLED have been positive. Rtings gives the TV an impressive 8.4/10, while Reviewed.com says the TV “offers up some of the best picture performance” they’ve seen this year.

That said, Rtings points out some issues when it comes to the TV’s current support for next-gen gaming features, like variable refresh rate (VRR) and 120Hz gaming. Though the display is designed to support these features, the site encountered some problems when testing these capabilities. However, a new firmware update could address this issue.

Still, even with some limitations that need to be worked out via firmware, there’s no denying the picture quality value that Vizio’s new OLED presents, especially with this $500 discount.
