A rustic cabin in the mountains sounds like quite an idyllic getaway – but one property is majorly upping the stakes.
That’s because when you book a stay at the chic cabin Rental Mountain YAMA, you’ll also get the entire mountain to yourself.
We’re talking breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, heaps of space to roam around without bumping into other holidaymakers, and of course, a dreamy cabin with all the basics you need for a comfortable stay.
Unfortunately, Brits may need to plan ahead as the dreamy rental is located in Nichinan City, in Japan’s Miyazaki Prefecture.
Still, we’re getting major wanderlust just dreaming about a stay here.
The cabin alone is inviting, boasting wooden interiors, a large kitchen, a living room complete with a fireplace for cosy nights in, and bedrooms overlooking the scenery.
There’s even a private open-air bath sure to make for a memorable soak.
Then there are heaps of fun perks for guests from the outdoor barbecue area and deck to the hammocks which look like the ideal spot for lounging around with a good book. (For the more adventurous, there’s a ‘Tarzan rope’ on-site too!).
The cabin can sleep up to 10 people, but it can only be hired for one night (or, a maximum of 19 hours).
You can find out more about the mountain and cabin on the King Tourism Japan website.
Unfortunately, currently travelling to Japan isn’t on the cards for Brits. While the FCDO doesn’t advise against travel, the country is currently not open to UK travellers. (You can read more in the official FCDO advice ).
The silver lining is that if you are looking to go off the grid, the UK has heaps of brilliant spots nestled in its woodlands and spectacular countryside.
- During the coronavirus pandemic, countries may be subject to a change in travel restrictions. Always check the latest FCDO advice for your chosen destination before planning, booking, or going on a trip.
